Introduction |
Daytz gives you a handy place to keep notes associated with each day.
Daytz is a small (and therefore fast) calendar program for MacOS X 10.3 and later. It is fully compatible with my
earlier program, "Cal 3.05", which works on MacOS 6, 7, 8 and 9. That is, most versions of the Macintosh operating system back to 1986.
Here are its features:
- Daytz associates a text note with any day in modern history
- Daytz's window is resizable
- Daytz's data is stored as plain text files, so your information is easily searchable
- Daytz's data is always saved. What you see is what you get.
- Daytz is drag & drop aware (you can drag text from other programs into Daytz, and vice
versa.)
- Daytz is services menu aware (a sub-menu of the Daytz menu.)
- Daytz is contextual menu extension aware
- Daytz is global find aware (The text you type into a Find Dialog moves with you from program to
program)
